LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A bicyclist was taken to a hospital Monday morning after they were hit by a car in a suspected hit-and-run in the west valley, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
The crash was reported around 6 a.m. at Charleston Boulevard and Buffalo Drive, said Lt. David Gordon.
A man driving a white, four-door vehicle stopped and briefly stayed at the scene, Gordon said, but left before officers arrived. The car was last seen heading east on Charleston.
The cyclist was taken to a hospital, and their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Road closures and lane restrictions are in effect while police investigate the scene, Gordon said.
