LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a died at the hospital following a minor collision at Flamingo Road and Fort Apache Road just after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to LVMPD, a 2008 Nissan was traveling westbound on Flamingo Road in the right lane and was stopped at a traffic light when a 207 Ford Escape traveling the same direction rear-ended the vehicle, causing a minor collision.
The driver of the Nissan, identified as 38-year-old Aubree Stenberg, exited her vehicle and found the driver of the Ford to be unresponsive.
The driver of the Ford, a 47-year-old Henderson man, was transported to Southern Hills Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The incident remains under investigation.
