LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — As many as three people were taken to a hospital after a head-on crash Wednesday morning in the northeast valley, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. on Nellis Boulevard near Geist Avenue, south of Cheyenne Avenue, said Lt. David Gordon with LVMPD.
About five cars were involved in the crash, and two to three people were taken to a hospital, Gordon said. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigators do not believe impairment was a factor, he said, and southbound Nellis is closed while officers respond to the scene.
