POLICE: Woman hit by van while crossing intersection diagonally at Flamingo and Koval

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Police report that a pedestrian was hit by a van on Saturday at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.

Upon viewing the evidence at the scene and speaking to witnesses, investigators believe the pedestrian was crossing the intersection diagonally from the northwest corner to the southeast corner, outside of an established crosswalk.

LVMPD reports that at 7:30 p.m., a 2018 Dodge Ram Van was traveling eastbound on Flamingo when it hit the pedestrian, who investigators believe ran into the path of the Van.

The front right of the Van struck the pedestrian, knocking her to the ground.
