1 person seriously injured in east Las Vegas valley 3-car crash

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — One person was seriously injured in a crash reported in the east valley Tuesday morning, according to police.

The crash was reported around 6:20 a.m. at Harmon Avenue and Sandhill Road, said Lt. David Gordon with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

The driver of a two-door Mazda lost control and rear-ended a Ford SUV, which struck a Chevrolet four-door as a result, Gordon said.

One driver was taken to a hospital, and his injuries are believed to be serious but not life-threatening, according to Gordon.

Two to three other people were taken to a hospital or received treatment.
