Motorcyclist dies from injuries after crash in Henderson

A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a wall in Henderson.

The crash took place around 1:40 a.m., in the area of Jessup Road and Robindale Road.

According to police, a 42-year-old male rider of a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on Jessup Road approaching the “T” intersection of Robindale Road at a high rate of speed.

The driver of the motorcycle failed to negotiate a left or right turn of that intersection, hitting a gate and a block wall on the north side of the intersection.

The motorcyclist was transported to Sunrise Trauma Center in serious condition but later died of his injuries at 11:00 a.m.

The rider's name will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications.

Preliminary investigation indicates that speed and impairment did appear to be factors.

This is an open investigation.

The male’s death is the seventh traffic-related fatality this year in The City of Henderson.
