Driver arrested for DUI in deadly crash near Flamingo & Town Center

One person is dead, and three others are in the hospital after a crash in Summerlin.

The crash took place around 4:48 p.m. at the intersection of Granite Ridge Drive and Grey Feather Drive near Flamingo Road and S. Town Center Drive.

The vehicle turned into a curve, but the driver lost control and went off the road, hitting several trees.

Three passengers in the car were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected, according to LVMPD. A 36-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries, while a 50-year-old man and 46-year-old woman were seriously injured.

The front passenger, a 44-year-old man, and the driver, identified as 53-year-old Scott Gragson, suffered minor injuries. They both were taken to UMC, and Gragson was later booked on suspicion of DUI.

Jail records indicate Gragson is facing six counts, including DUI resulting in death. Gragson is the grandson of former Las Vegas Mayor Oran Gragson, and an online profile identifies him as the executive vice president of the Las Vegas Land Division with Colliers International.
