LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A bicyclist was critically injured when struck by a bus Monday morning in the central valley, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Officers got a report around 2 a.m. about a collision between an RTC bus and a man on a bike, said Lt. David Gordon. Both were heading south on Fremont Street near S. Mojave Road at the time.
The cyclist was taken to a hospital with critical injuries, Gordon said, but his condition is described as stable.
Southbound Fremont was closed for a time for the investigation, but it has since reopened, according to Gordon.
No other details on the circumstances of the crash were immediately available.
