A pedestrian suffered unknown injuries when a the driver of a red Mustang lost control on wet roads Thursday morning.
The driver of the convertible fled the scene over a fence, but was apparently apprehended a short time later, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer Aiden Ocampo Gomez, who said the investigation is ongoing.
The car struck the pedestrian and a tree about 9:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of Burningwood Lane near North Rainbow Boulevard and Vegas Drive.
The pedestrian was transported to UMC. The extend of their injuries was unknown to police.
