LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a crash that killed two people in the northeast valley Monday night.
According to LVMPD, the crash occurred at Lamb Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue around 8:10 p.m.
In a statement released early Tuesday morning, LVMPD said the crash was reported in a parking lot at the intersection.
A 2000 GMC Yukon was heading north on Lamb and entered the parking lot, crashing into a parked semi truck, according to police.
Both the driver and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
No information about the driver was immediately available. The passenger was identified by police as a 33-year-old woman.
