Authorities are looking for the driver who struck and killed a woman late Wednesday night in the east Las Vegas valley.
Officers responded just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, on a report of a pedestrian hit on E. Charleston Boulevard east of Arlington Street, near Nellis Boulevard, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Emergency personnel pronounced the pedestrian, identified as a 48-year-old woman, dead at the scene, LVMPD said.
Investigators learned the woman was crossing Charleston when a smaller white Toyota hit her and left the scene, according to police.
